    Medleno Coffee Shop & Roastery offers an exceptional coffee experience that lives up to its great reputation. The shop itself is very intimate, fitting only about 3 people inside at a time. I tried their iced mocha, which was very rich and silky, with a perfect blend of chocolate and coffee flavors. The attention to detail was evident when Ida, the business owner, ensured our drinks were tailored to our preferences. My mother opted for the caramel latte, which was equally delicious - smooth caramel notes with a robust coffee undertone, reminiscent of caramel chews. The coffee itself was robust and satisfyingly caffeinated, perfect for those who enjoy a strong brew. Overall, our visit to Medleno was a memorable experience, and we're already looking forward to our next visit. If you appreciate quality coffee served in a charming atmosphere, this place definitely deserves a visit.

    The best Turkish coffee ever. The barista was so welcoming and sweet. Made sure my coffee was how I wanted it. Cute little spot to sit outside and enjoy some good Turkish coffee. Would be going back for sure when visiting the Bay Area.

    not exaggerating when i say this is the best coffee in the bay area. maybe california at large! maybe even the whole country! ive travelled a lot and ive never had coffee as good as medlenos. the owners are lovely and its always a treat when we go out of our way to stop by medleno. its worth the trip!!

    By far the best coffee in the Bay Area. The lady (Ida?), always starts it off with a disarming smile, her husband and the barista, also complement her, n their own unique ways. Despite their busy routine, she still has the time to talk about the intricacies of roasting coffee beans. One of the few places in the Bay Area that do not sell Illy's Espresso (which I find a bit commoditized). A good espresso should be rich, but not too rich, should NOT be sour (sitting for too long or over-extracted) and should not be watery (under-extraction?). Their espresso has a character of it's own, and that's what I like about their espresso. They also customize their coffee based on your preferences, within reasonable limits, and always have something that will taste better than the last time. The ambiance is also great, from a coffee shop perspective, with amazing and distinct coffee aromas. You can sit outside, and enjoy the sun or just grab and go, which most of us do. My nephew is a native New Yorker and he still finds their coffee the best in the country and he is a coffee connoisseur. That speaks volumes about Medleno.
